Set in the rolling hills of the English countryside, Philophobia is a picture of small town adolescence. One week of school remains for Kai, an aspiring writer, and his friends. How they choose to spend this time will cost one of them their life and leave them all changed forever.

Philophobia is the feature debut from writer director Guy Davies and production company Fablemaze (Matt & Toby Cook). After picking up a dozen awards on the festival circuit Philophobia received a national theatrical release in the UK in over 50 cinemas in October 2020. It was then renamed to As I Am for English speaking territories and sold to Vertical Entertainment and Sky TV in the UK/Ireland where it released in March 2021. Followed by a sale to HBO for Europe and Dean Devlin's Electric Entertainment acquired rights to the USA where it received a cinema release in summer 2021 followed by VOD in October 2021.
